Welcome to our quick start for ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Document Services and ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Acrobat Sign APIs. The videos in this series will empower you to build and embed an end-to-end document generation and signature process within your platform. In this video, we are going to cover the basics of creating documents in the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Acrobat Sign API. The first thing you will want to know how to do is to create a transient document. A transient document is a temporary object that represents a file within our API. These files will last 7 days after they are created. Now that we are on the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Acrobat Sign homepage, click the Account button. Then scroll down the left-hand side of the page and click the drop-down labeled Acrobat Sign API. Make sure you are now in the API Information section. Now click the link labeled REST API Methods Documentation. This will take you to our REST API Documentation page, which also contains our Swagger tools. The links contained within this page are the best way to get information about our REST API. Within each object’s drop-down, you can find definitions for the metadata of that object, as well as example JSON bodies for REST API calls. From here we can scroll down to the Transient Documents Information section, and click the label to open up the section. Now click the Post Transient Documents link. Now enter bearer followed by your access token in the Authorization field. Then choose your file for use with the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Acrobat Sign API. Lastly, we click the Try it out button to make a REST API call. Below we will see the request URL and the response body containing our transient document ID. Copy the transient document ID for future use in the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Acrobat Sign API.
