Well hi everybody it’s Cynthia Boone your on-demand work front CSM and I’m back with another top three this time creative approaches with blueprints. Now before we even get started into the one two three let’s talk about the sandbox preview. Now if you are concerned at all about installing anything into your production environment that’s okay everything we’re about to talk about you could actually install in your preview environment play around with it make sure you like it before it goes to production just a hot tip. Alright so let’s get into it. The number three creative approach get inspired. So one of the things that we hear all the time in events talking to customers I even had the same thing is I need examples what sort of KPI should I be sharing what kind of metrics should I be tracking. I’m not getting a lot of feedback. What you can do is go into blueprints so when you get on the blueprints page you can see on the right hand side there’s you know filter by use case filter by maturity but there’s also filter by dashboard right so there’s dashboards in here that are amazing so check out the value realization core value dashboard you can share this with your executives and say you know what about this resonates like is this something that you would find useful how what kind of information do you want to see in your report so downloading these things showing examples of what’s possible it’s actually going to get you that really good feedback of what you should be sharing okay the other thing that I used to get all the time is we need a thing how long is it gonna take to get that thing so you might already have project templates that show that but if you don’t you can go and check out all those project templates and this is just a video asset production one but it shows like this one is shows 63 days right so if you look at these things and say hello this is how long it’s gonna take these are the steps are involved in creating the thing that you’re asking for they get a better idea of the scope of the work that’s needed all right so let’s go to number two number two keep up with those Joneses you got to do that right okay so one of the things that I always wanted everyone always wants is how are other people using work front am I doing it the same way as everybody else I’d like to know if there’s better ways to use work front okay go out to the project templates in blueprints a lot of these things were submitted by customers so approaches that a lot of customers use check them out you can preview you don’t even have to install them you can just click preview and you can kind of see a picture of what that template would look like I’ve gone ahead and installed it and you can see okay this is how some people manage an integrated campaign we do this we don’t do that like this is a great way to see what others do check out maybe you want to audit some of the stuff that you’re doing add some tasks take away some tasks like this is a really good opportunity to do comparison shopping if you take a meeting all right number one though number one go big so when you are expanding work front in your organization like one of the hardest parts is do I have the subject matter expertise in terms of I don’t know HR IT finance etc in order to bring them into work front another great thing about blueprints they we have all these different use cases right so there’s finance there’s human resources there’s IT so here’s one that I really like this annual budget planning if you’re gonna try to bring in a finance department into work front we have a project template right you can take a look at it and see if this is something that they can use as you expand into that department and the other cool thing here is they also have you know a whole finance organization set up you can take a look of all right they’ve got these groups these companies these roles these teams is this something that matches my organization so when you’re expanding into these other departments you can take a look what exists currently as a blueprint and work front save yourself some time get some ideas and share it with those departments to see if you could cut you know implementation a little bit shorter I hope this has inspired you I love blueprints I think it’s the shortcut to work front work and I hope you’ll give it a shot we’ll see you next time on top three bye everybody
