Product selection limitation in AEM Cloud Service’s Product List Component
The Product List Component in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud Service doesn’t allow users to add more than 20 products (SKUs) using the Select All checkbox. Users must manually navigate through pages to select all desired products.
Description description
Environment
ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Issues/Symptoms
Users can’t add more than 20 products (SKUs) at a time using the Select All checkbox. This slows down product selection and makes campaign management inefficient.
Step to reproduce
- Add the Product List Component to an AEM page.
- Configure the Product List Component and apply SKU-based filters.
- Click Select Products  and paste more than 20 SKUs into the selection field.
- Use the Select All  checkbox to select all pasted SKUs.
- Try to add all checked SKUs to the Product List Component.
Expected Behavior
When using the Select All checkbox, all products in the search result should be added to the Product List Component, not just the first 20 items on the initial page.
Observed Behavior
- When there are more than 20 products listed, using Select All  only selects the first 20 products on the initial page.
- Products on subsequent pages remain unselected.
- Users must manually navigate to the next page and select products individually.
Limitation of the Selection
If there are XX products across multiple pages and you Select All on the first page, only the first 20 products will be selected, not the entire set.
Example Scenario
A user tries to select all 39 products by clicking Select All, but only the first 20 products are selected. The remaining 19 products are not selected.
Resolution resolution
You can manually navigate to subsequent pages and select products individually. This ensures all required products are added. A long-term fix, when available, should enable global selection across multiple pages, improving efficiency and user experience in AEM Cloud Service.
