Issue/Symptoms

  • Rule sets created for capping are not visible or selectable in the Capping rules  dropdown menu.
  • Dropdown functionality appears limited or non-operational under certain conditions.

Cause

Journey Capping rules are in Limited Availability and specific domain requirements for rule sets.

Resolution resolution

Note: Journey capping is currently in Limited Availability and might not be accessible to all users at this time. Contact your account team if you wish to be added to the waitlist for these features.

To resolve this issue, ensure that the following conditions are met:

  1. Journey Capping rules can only be applied to rule sets with the Journey  domain. If a rule set has a different domain (for example, Channel), it won’t appear in the dropdown menu for journey capping.

  2. Ensure that the rule type aligns with its intended use. For example:

    • Channel Capping rules should be used for channels.
    • Journey Capping rules should be used for journeys.
