Marketo Measure touchpoints not syncing to Marketo Engage

Marketo Measure touchpoints don’t appear in Marketo Engage person records, even though they sync successfully to Salesforce. To resolve this, verify the sync to Salesforce, compare expected and actual behavior, and contact ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ support if needed.

Connected Systems: Salesforce (SFDC) and Marketo Engage

Issue/Symptoms

  • Touchpoint data is visible in Salesforce but missing from Marketo Engage person records.
  • Users expect touchpoints to sync into Marketo Engage but do not see them reflected.
  • Uncertainty exists around whether the integration is functioning as intended.

Cause

The integration between Marketo Measure and Marketo Engage is unidirectional. Marketo Measure pulls data from Marketo Engage (for example, Programs, Memberships, Activities) but does not push touchpoint data back into Marketo Engage. Touchpoints are only synced to CRM systems like Salesforce.
