Unable to save when creating a new user in AEMaaCS

Issue / Symptoms

  • Error occurs when saving a newly created user.
  • Log entries errors include:javax.jcr.InvalidItemStateException: OakState0001: Unresolved conflicts in /content/dam/< path> /config/count.json.
  • Admin permissions don’t allow user creation.

Resolution resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ۶Ƶ Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to the  Product Profiles under AEM.
  3. Identify the product profile assigned to AEM Admins.
  4. In the Profile Details, locate the Display Name field.
  5. Clear the value in the Display Name field (for example, AEM Administrators - QA-Quality-1 Author).
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Retry creating and saving the new user in AEM.
