ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Experience Platform (AEP)

Issue / Symptoms

  • You are unable to access ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Experience Platform (AEP) even though you are added to the correct product profile with administrative privileges.
  • Error displayed when accessing AEP from the Experience Cloud homepage: No sandboxes are enabled for this user. Please speak to the admin of the organization and request access to at least one sandbox.

Cause

This error occurs when no AEP sandbox roles are assigned in the Permissions app, even though the correct product profiles are in place.

Resolution resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Open the  Admin Console and make sure the user is added to the following product profiles:

    • AEP-Default-All-Users
    • Default Production All Access (or equivalent profiles used in your organization)
  2. Go to the Experience Cloud homepage and locate the Permissions app. If it’s not visible in the Quick Access section, click View All  and open it from there.

  3. In the Permissions app, open the Roles section and assign the required sandbox roles, such as Sandbox Administrator.

  4. Log out, clear the browser cache, and log back in. This should restore access to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Experience Platform without the sandbox error.
