Upgrade to version 10.0 DHL schema to continue offering DHL shipping

This article provides a solution to help merchants continue offering DHL shipping after DHL schema version 6.2 got deprecated at the end of December 2022.

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Commerce 2.4.5 and earlier versions, all deployment methods

Issue

In August 2022, we released an upgrade to DHL schema version 6.2, along with a fix patch to help merchants continue offering DHL shipping. DHL introduced a newer schema—version 10.0—in October 2022, and the previous version (6.2) got deprecated at the end of December 2022. ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Commerce 2.4.5 and earlier only support DHL schema version 6.2.

Resolution resolution

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Commerce 2.4.5-p1 and 2.4.4-p2, released in October 2022, contain the new DHL schema version 10.0. Merchants who upgrade to these versions don’t need to take any additional action to continue offering DHL shipments. We encourage all merchants to upgrade to 2.4.5-p1 or 2.4.4-p2 before the deprecation of DHL schema 6.2 at the end of December 2022.

Merchants who don’t wish to upgrade to 2.4.5-p1 or 2.4.4-p2 will need to apply a fix patch to continue offering DHL shipping after December 2022.

Patch

The patch ID is AC-3023 and it is available in the Quality Patches Tool version 1.1.21.
