Privacy regulations overview

IMPORTANT
To support the growing number of U.S. state privacy laws, Privacy Service is changing its regulation_type values. Use the new values that include state abbreviations (for example, ucpa_ut_usa) starting 12 June 2025. The older values (for example, ucpa_usa) stop working after 28 July 2025.
Update your integrations before this deadline to avoid request failures.
