Enable or disable AI Assistant

As a Workfront Administrator, you can control which users in your organization have AI Assistant enabled. This is managed through access levels.

Access requirements

You must have the following access to enable or disable AI Assistant:

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Workfront plan

New: Any

or

Current: Not available

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Workfront license

New: Standard

or

Current: Not available

Access level configurations
You must be a Workfront administrator.

Enable or disable AI Assistant in Workfront

NOTE
AI Assistant is disabled by default for non-admins.

To enable AI Assistant for a given access level:

  1. Click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-right corner of ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ Workfront, or (if available), click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-left corner, then click Setup Setup icon .
  2. Select Access Levels in the left navigation.
  3. Select the desired access level, then click the Edit Edit icon icon above the list.
  4. In the Set additional restrictions… area of the Edit Access Level box, uncheck the Disable the Workfront AI Assistant checkbox.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each access level you want to enable AI Assistant for.
NOTE
As AI features are added to Workfront, some AI features will become foundational to how Workfront operates. The ability to disable all AI features will likely be deprecated in the near future.
