Add a sibling target node between nodes in an experience
Experiences with decision tree targeting only
You can add a sibling node to any node that has a target or is at the same level as a node with a target.

Above the node to which you want to add the sibling node, click

Specify the targets:

For audience targets, do the following:

Click Click to Browse to open your Audience Targeting options, and then do the following:

To add the first segment, locate the segment in the left panel, and select the check box next to the segment name.

To add a segment to an existing segment group:
-
Click the segment group in the right panel.

(Optional) Change the group logic to Include Any, Include All, or Exclude All, as needed.
Exclude All isn鈥檛 available to the first segment group. For an audience that includes only exclusions, build this audience as Include Any and then exclude that audience when you add it to a placement within your DSP.

Locate the new segment in the left panel, and select the check box next to the segment name.
The segment group is automatically updated with the new segment.

To add a new segment group:

Click + New Group in the right panel.

(Optional) Change the logic between the previous group and the new group to And or Or, as needed.

Locate the segments for the new group in the left panel, and select the check boxes next to the segment names.

(Optional) Change the group logic to Include Any, Include All, or Exclude All, as needed.

Click Create.

Click Apply.

For geographical targets, do the following:

Click Click to Browse to open your Geo Targeting options, specify one or more of the geographical targets, and then click Save.
Zip code targets have bulk editing options. To paste multiple zip codes, click the Paste postal codes tab, select the country, paste or enter zip codes separated by commas or on separate lines, and then click Include All. To remove an included zip code target, hold the cursor over the target and click

(Optional) To create multiple target nodes when multiple geographical targets are specified, select Split targets to create nodes.
This feature creates a separate target node (with separate creative bundles) for each specified geographical target. If you don鈥檛 split the targets, then the user must belong to all of the specified locations (a Boolean
AND
statement). -
Click Apply.

For data pass targets, optionally customize the data pass key, enter a single data pass value, and then click Apply.
A default value for the key in the key-value pair is already set in the Data Pass field in the Advanced section of the experience settings. You can optionally can customize the key.

For retargeting pixel targets, select the retargeting pixel to use and the required values for any of the pixel鈥檚 attributes that must be present to show the creatives. Then click Apply.
The attributes for the retargeting pixel are configured in the retargeting pixel settings.

For device targets, do the following:

Select the targets.

(Optional) To create multiple target nodes when multiple geographical targets are specified, select Split targets to create nodes.

Click Apply.

(Optional) Specify a custom branch name for a user-defined branch.
By default, user-defined branches are labeled with the applied targets.
You can鈥檛 create a custom branch name for an 鈥淎ll鈥 or 鈥淓veryone Else鈥 branch.

Hold the cursor over the target node and click 鈥 > Edit Name.

Enter the Node Name, and then click Save.

Do any of the following:

(Optional) Assign creatives to the new target node.

(Optional) To save the experience:

Click Save, and then OK.

(If each node at the bottom-most level doesn鈥檛 include at least one creative): Do one of the following:

To save the experience without all the required creative bundles, click Save as Draft.
You can鈥檛 create an ad tag for a draft experience.

To assign the default creative to each target that hasn鈥檛 already been assigned a creative bundle, click Assign Default Creatives. After you review the updated tree with the default creatives assigned, click Save and OK.

To continue editing the decision tree, click Continue Edit.
